This cute couple were given to me by the wonderful people at Kowa Pharmaceuticals. These are Yubi ningyou or finger dolls. Apparently there are more of these and other Kowa frogs than there are people in Japan. Took part in a group show called Plus plush which is currently on at Bodhi gallery on Brick Lane (4th – 10th June). We customized a Muju designed toy and made our ‘day of the dead’ inspired man. Complete with jacket, hat and glowing eyes.
Jellybrain was brought to life by the talented Camilla Engman. Mr. Jellybrain is currently off on his travels to Melbourne, Austrailia, he’s going to be part of the anti mascot project .
Jellybrain is also part of the Foto Folly project www.startastory.com project. Why not join in the fun too. The idea is for you to choose 2-6 of the photos in the set and make your own story by adding words and/or images.
