Moshi Games

I’ve been working lots with the great people at Moshi Monsters for a good part of this year. One of the biggest jobs was redesigning the Moshi Games site. Part of the job also meant I had to tirelessly play every game they have and make icons for each one of them. Some of my favourite games were the addictive Hide Caesar 2, the engaging little wheel and the beautifully animated Home Sheep Home.

Quakebook 2

Whilst most people and all the quakebook team love the quakebook cover it was decided it wouldn’t be as appropriate and effective for a Japanese version of the book. I immediatly thought of Linda Nakanishi’s wonderful lotus flower illustration which has a more inspiring and positive message behind it. Linda explains the symbolisim of the image here. A reminder that book is out and available to buy here (US) or here (UK) buy the book and help Japan!

Quakebook

Quakebook is now available to buy from Amazon. I’m proud to have been a part of the excellent project and to have worked with some amazing people to get the the Quakebook project out there. It started with a tweet from Our Man in Abiko calling for stories and experiences of people who have been affected in some way by the devastating earthquake, and the aim to raise funds for the Red Cross. The contributions have come from a wide variety of sources, and include photographs, personal accounts, drawings; each telling their own tale. I worked on bringing the design all together. Using James Whites fabulous poster for the front cover and contacting a number of other designers such as the fabulous Linda Yuki Nakanishi to include their work (whose work is now being used for the Japanese cover).
