Bunny Portrait for Illustration Friday
Can all illustration friday visitors take a look at my ‘Start A Story‘ website. I’ve just launched a new project called ‘Flow Chart Adventure’. It’d be great to get more people involved especially with finishing off the project ‘Choices‘. Cheers.

Illustration for Illustration friday, but also for a new ‘Start A Story‘ project called ‘Layer by Layer’. The idea is that Like ‘Pass it On’ each page is illustrated and written by someone different, however each image in the story is drawn on the layer above the previous one using programs that use layers such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Painter. Please get in contact if you’d like to be involved in this particular project.

We took part in a live painting event organised by Matsuri for the Brick Lane festival at 93 feet east. Thanks to our friends Tortoy who we painted with and the Matsuri group for organising the event.

Two posters created to promote the collaborative super project Start a Story. If you’d like to spread the good word please download the posters (they’re available in pdf format) and stick them up on a noticeboard in your school, university, office etc. You could also tell your friends, neighbours and even blog about it.

Some of our bunnies were include in Pictoplasmas’ Essence of Rabbit project.

Piece included in a group exhibition in London. All the works were based on a childhood belief. Our piece illustrated the belief; ‘I didnt eat honey when I was younger for the fear that it contained stray bee stings’. The work is made up of thousands of holes made using a pin. A fluorescent circular light was placed behind the paper to finish it off.

The first ‘Start a Story’ project I started has now been completed – see it here.
The idea was to create a story where each page was illustrated and written by someone different. I started the project and then passed my illustration onto someone else. Each person who participated only got to see the previous page to the one they worked on.
